When we started freelancing, the hardest part wasn't finding clients or delivering work — it was figuring out which tools were actually worth paying for. Most review sites either copy-paste marketing copy or get paid to say nice things. Neither approach helps anyone make a real decision.

So we built AIToolTechy. Every tool we cover gets put through real work — actual client projects, real deadlines, real budgets. We write about what broke, what surprised us, and whether the price is actually justified.

We're not a big media company. We're a small, independent publication that cares more about being useful than being popular.

How We Review Tools

  We don't accept free accounts in exchange for reviews. We pay for access the same way our readers do — so our experience reflects what you'll actually get.

  We use tools on real work

  We test every tool on actual freelance tasks — writing content, creating videos, building documents — not toy examples. Minimum 2 weeks of active use before we write anything.

  We document the bad stuff too

  Every tool has weaknesses. We don't hide them. If something crashed, produced poor output, or wasted credits, we say so — even if we earn a commission from that tool.

  We verify pricing before publishing

  Pricing changes constantly in the AI space. We check every price against the official product page before each article goes live and update articles when things change.
